St George's Cathedral is a place for us to spend time with God in quietness or in worship, to find strength in facing life’s challenges, and to enjoy fellowship with others.

The Cathedral is not just a building, it is a place where our community gathers for sacred music of the highest standard, sensitive pastoral care, deep liturgical skill and challenging teaching.

We can only continue to do these things because of the financial support that we receive from the community.

We invite you to join in as the Cathedral’s community give glory to God and participates in God’s mission.

Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly, for God loves a cheerful giver
2 Corinthians 9:7

St George’s Cathedral Foundation for the Arts (Tax Deductible)

As the focus of a community’s social and cultural life, the medieval cathedrals of Europe were more than places of worship.

They provided a space where the people would gather to watch musicians, actors and dancers tell stories through the performance of mystery plays.

Today, many cathedrals continue this tradition by providing a unique performance and exhibition space for the celebration of music and the creative arts.

Email us at appeal@perthcathedral.org to find out how your contribution can help support music and the arts at St George’s.

The St George’s Cathedral Foundation for the Arts Inc. is a tax deductible fund, donations of $2 or more are tax-deductible.
