We are pleased to announce that Sunday worship will resume this Sunday 7 June at 8am and 10am under Stage 3 restrictions.

Please note the following changes to our usual routines:

  1. If more than 100 people arrive, the overflow will be accommodated in upper Burt Memorial Hall, with live video streaming onto a screen.
  2. The service will be live streamed onto Facebook and YouTube for those for whom it is too vulnerable for them to be physically present. We won’t intend to film members of the congregation, but we cannot guarantee you won’t be filmed at all. If this concerns you, consider worshipping in the Hall.
  3. Everyone must use hand cleanser when they arrive.
  4. Everyone must register giving their name and contact details.
  5. Everyone is encouraged to switch on their COVID-19 app on their mobile phones.
  6. A distance of 1.5m must be kept between people from different households at all times. This means no physical contact during the greeting of peace or greeting one another before and after the service by those of different households.
  7. Communion will be in one kind only. There will be no offertory procession. To maintain physical distancing, communion will be received standing. Crosses on the floor are there to help you keep the distance required.
  8. If you bring money for the collection, please place it in the collection bowls provided as you arrive, or in the collection boxes as you leave. Please consider making your offering via tapping your credit/debit card or by direct debit.
  9. The choir will not attend, but small ensembles and soloists will sing at the 10am service.
  10. The order of service will be printed in its entirety. Please take it with you when you go and recycle it at home.
  11. No refreshments or food will be served after the services.

If you think you may be more vulnerable should you catch the coronavirus, then please consider staying home and watching the live stream.

Thank you for your patience over these past weeks, while we are not yet back to normal, we pray it won’t be long before we are.
