The winner of the People's Choice Award, a cash prize of $150, is Lauryn Wrightstone, Seton Catholic College, for What Lies Beneath (Oil).

At the 15th Annual St George’s Art Gala Awards Night on Thursday 20 July, Dr Stefano Carboni, Director of the Art Gallery of WA, awarded prizes to five winning artworks, and Mr Michael Boercamp from Jacksons Drawing Supplies presented five Highly Commended prizes.

The Cathedral was proud to be the venue for Suspended Voices from 6 to 11 July 2017. A short film showcasing the work has been uploaded to YouTube and can be found here.

St George's Dance and Theatre's world premiere show, Biryani, has received a four-star review on the ArtsHub Australia website.

International star Kali Srinivasan, from the Palme D'or Winning film 'Dheepan', has flown all the way from India to create a one-woman show BIRYANI.
