News

At a very special Evensong yesterday, we farewelled Canon Theresa Harvey as she begins her Long Service Leave prior to retirement.

Joseph Nolan's latest disc has been featured in the November edition of International Record Review.

For the fourth consecutive year, Joseph Nolan and the St George’s Cathedral Choir have been part of ABC Classic FM’s prestigious Sunday Live Concerts.

Joseph Nolan is to be congratulated on the new review of his latest disc, Charles-Marie Widor: The Complete Organ Symphonies Vol I, which was recently posted on the MusicWeb International site.

Roses & Raiment - a festival of flowers and sacred vestments, the first flower festival to have been held in St George's Cathedral for nine years, has been a wonderful success. The Cathedral was awash with colour, provided by historic vestments and fresh flowers. The scent of roses, stocks, carnations, and freesias filled the air.
