We start the New Year with a major challenge…..to reach our final goal by the end of the year of 2008.

At the end of 2007 we have achieved a total of $13.2 million pledged to the restoration of St George's Cathedral, the Burt Memorial Hall and the Old Deanery as well as the Cathedral precinct.

 

It is made up of:

Major Private donor              $1M   
(to restore the roof)

 

City of Perth                        $250,000                                                                      

 

Anglican

Community Fund                 $150,000

 

 ……with balance being pledged by organisations and through generous private donations.

 

Our commitment to the preservation of our heritage precinct must not flag.  We need another $1.8 million to achieve our goal.
