Theology Today Issue 7 Out Now

The latest issue of Theology Today - the newsletter of the Institute of Anglican Studies - is now available by email, post, or to download here.  Copies can also be found at the Cathedral's West End.

The Institute aims to get Anglicans thinking, with articles, seminars and lectures that draw on theologians from around the world.

During the coming year, Anglican provinces will decide whether they will support a proposal to stick together despite serious differences over the implications for the Church in dealing with same-sex relationships.  The current issue of Theology Today gives some background on the development of Anglicanism as a via media, or middle way, and explores the limits to the notion of 'unity in diversity'.  A summary of the proposed Anglican Covenant is included.
