Sunday Live at the Cathedral

For the third consecutive year, Joseph Nolan and the St George’s Cathedral Choir have been part of ABC Classic FM’s prestigious Sunday Live Concerts.

This year’s performance saw the Cathedral packed to capacity, despite the hot weather, and opened with the St George’s Cathedral Consort singing Frank Martin’s divine Mass for Double Choir.  Following this, the Cathedral Choir and Consort joined forces, along with Stewart Smith, organ, for a superb rendering of the Requiem of Maurice Duruflé.

The concert was broadcast live nationally on ABC Classic FM Radio yesterday afternoon, and can be found online for a limited time here.
