Lunchtime concerts launch in April

A range of talented music students and guest artists are to perform from April in the Cathedral's increasingly popular lunchtime concerts, now renamed Concerts at One – which this year continue into October with Perth's first BACH-FEST.

Ideally timed to suit shoppers, city workers, seniors, school groups and tourists on a day trip to Perth, Concerts at One are set to begin on Wednesday 28 April.

The winter recitals, which take place every Wednesday lunchtime until 30 June, offer the chance to hear local students show off their talents with solo and small ensemble works. Concerts are listed in our Events section, and begin with music students from Perth College.

In spring (25 August – 27 October), a mix of concerts featuring students and guest artists will include vocal students from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts and WA Opera Young Artists.

For the first time, the Concerts at One will culminate in an October BACH-FEST – a series of four organ recitals by Cathedral Organist and International Recitalist, Joseph Nolan.

All concerts are at 1.00pm. Programme details will be posted on the Cathedral website prior to each concert.
