The Reverend Graeme Napier ~ Precentor
The Reverend Graeme Napier joined the Cathedral as Precentor in October 2010. From 2002, Graeme served as senior Minor Canon of Westminster Abbey, London, responsible for worship and liturgy in the Abbey and its associated churches and chapels. Prior to his position at the Abbey, he was Acting Rector of the parish of Christ Church St Laurence, Sydney, where he had also served for a number of years as Assistant Priest. Graeme trained for the priesthood at St Stephen’s House, Oxford, and was ordained Deacon and Priest in the Diocese of Moray, Ross & Caithness, Scotland. He has a BA in Mathematics & Philosophy, a BA in Philosophy & Theology and an MPhil in Philosophical Theology from Magdalen College, Oxford.
Joseph Nolan ~ Organist and Master of the Choristers
Joseph was appointed Organist and Master of the Choristers at St George’s Cathedral in March 2008, where he is responsible for conducting the Cathedral Choir and Consort, and directing the Concert Series. A scholarship holder at the Royal College of Music, London, Joseph was appointed to Her Majesty's Chapels Royal, St James's Palace, in 2004, and is now highly regarded as an international organ recitalist and recording artist. The Right Reverend Brian Kyme ~ Institute of Anglican Studies
Bishop Kyme is Director of the Institute of Anglican Studies, established as a response to what many perceive to be a crisis of identity in the Anglican Church. The Institute presents courses and lectures that explore Anglicanism as a living, vibrant expression of Christian faith.
The Right Reverend David Murray ~ Centre for Spirituality
Bishop Murray is Director of the Cathedral Centre for Spirituality, established in 2007 to help renew and confirm awareness that for Christians everything begins and ends with spirituality, because God is at the centre of everything, the whole of life.
Bernadette Liew ~ Cathedral Administrator
Bernadette oversees the management of budgets, accounts, creditor and debtor control, receipting, insurance and taxation requirements.
Josephine Christmass ~ Cathedral Secretary
Jo is the face of the Cathedral to the city and voice to the callers, and is responsible for telephones, reception, typing, maintaining the Cathedral database, in-house printing and support services.

Sabra Poole-Johnson ~ Publicity Coordinator
Sabra is responsible for raising the profile of the Cathedral through external marketing and promotion of the Cathedral and its achievements and activities.
Jo Malone ~ Restoration Fundraiser and Special Projects Officer
Jo coordinates events and special projects related to Cathedral Restoration funding, the Sculpture Project (Ascalon), and the Cathedral Foundation for the Arts.
Stephen Day ~ Dean's Verger
Stephen is responsible for the smooth running of services, the cleanliness of the Cathedral, maintenance of Cathedral buildings, ordering of worship supplies, vergers' roster and oversight of Assistant Vergers.
Jane Miles ~ Chapter Verger
Jane assists Stephen with ensuring all services and events run smoothly, while presenting the Cathedral to the highest possible standard.

Stewart Smith ~ Assistant Organist
Stewart has been the assistant organist at St George's Cathedral since 2004. He studied at the Royal Academy of Music and at London University, graduating with first class honours and a master's degree, and winning many prizes and scholarships along the way. Stewart's complete profile appears here.

Emeritus Professor John Tonkin (History)
Professor Tonkin’s major area of specialisation is the European Reformation. In recent years he has turned his attention to the history of the Anglican Church in Western Australia, and in 2001 published Cathedral and Community: A History of St George's Cathedral, Perth.
Emeritus Professor Chris Wortham (Literature)
Professor Wortham’s research interests include Elizabethan and Jacobean drama, and Medieval literature and poetry. He is currently researching for the following books: Shakespeare and the Matter of Britain; Shakespeare's Maps; Devotional Poetry of the Seventeenth Century.
Dr Bill Leadbetter (Classical Studies)
Dr Leadbetter is an historian, whose principal interest is in the Roman Empire. He has published widely in Roman history and in the history of the early church. He is a regular participant in the ABC Program "Sunday Nights with John Cleary", and is currently working on a series of interlinked biographies to be entitled Roman Lives.
